Describe the correct kind of entity
| Subject | Useful schema concept | Key relationship |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing agency | Organization and Service | The organisation provides the service. |
| Property professional | Person | The person works for a brokerage. |
| Real estate business | RealEstateAgent where appropriate | The business has genuine location and service information. |
| Guide | Article or WebPage | The named publisher and subject match the visible guide. |
| Navigation | BreadcrumbList | The hierarchy reflects the real page path. |
Use stable identifiers
Choose one canonical identifier for the organisation and reuse it across related pages. Keep the person and organisation as separate records. A profile can identify the agent’s employer without treating the agent as the brokerage. Use sameAs only for genuine identity-equivalent profiles, not articles that merely mention the subject.
Match the visible content
If a page does not display a review, credential or service area, do not add it invisibly to imply authority. FAQ markup should represent actual visible questions and answers. An Article record should use a real editorial revision date, not an automatically changing calendar date.
Validate syntax and meaning
Parse the JSON, inspect identifiers and compare the claims with the page. Technical validity is only one check. An agency incorrectly marked as a real estate brokerage could be valid JSON while describing the wrong business. See the entity relationship guide for the underlying model.
